MINDFULNESS FUNDAMENTALS

Adjusting to changes in life can be challenging. Since the onset of the pandemic, so many of us have experienced levels of burnout, isolation, trauma that took a profound toll on our individual and collective wellbeing. Our physical, mental, and emotional health + nervous systems are bearing the brunt of it all. In the midst of it all, how can we care for ourselves and support communities’ sustainability?
In this two-hour Zoom workshop, we will:
Experiment with short, simple mindfulness and somatic practices that can support our wellbeing, strengthen our nervous systems, and boost our individual and collective resilience
Explore how stress shows up in the body and how we can use embodied awareness to increase our "window of resilience”
Identify ways to incorporate mindfulness practices into daily life
