MINDFULNESS FUNDAMENTALS

Adjusting to changes in life can be challenging. Since the onset of the pandemic, so many of us have experienced levels of burnout, isolation, trauma that took a profound toll on our individual and collective wellbeing. Our physical, mental, and emotional health + nervous systems are bearing the brunt of it all. In the midst of it all, how can we care for ourselves and support communities’ sustainability?

In this two-hour Zoom workshop, we will:

  • Experiment with short, simple mindfulness and somatic practices that can support our wellbeing, strengthen our nervous systems, and boost our individual and collective resilience

  • Explore how stress shows up in the body and how we can use embodied awareness to increase our "window of resilience”

  • Identify ways to incorporate mindfulness practices into daily life
